Who Invented the Light Bulb?

Yeah u read it correctly. Most often people think that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, but he didn't!

Humphry Davy

In the early 18th century, Humphry Davy invented the first version of light bulb. which was the Electric Arc Lamp. He used electricity, wires and a battery to heat two rods of charcoal- on getting hot, electricity passed through the rods and they began to glow. This invention was not practical for various reasons.

Joseph Swan

British inventer Joseph Wilson Swan experimented with light bulbs from the year 1850.On December 18,1878 he demonstrated a light bulb which caught the attention of the whole world including Thomas Edison. He was awarded a patent only in the year 1880, when his house became the first house to be lit by a light bulb.

Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison can be credited as the inventor of first incandescent (emitting light as a result of heat) light bulb that was practical. In today's word, bulbs are used for various purposes ranging from domicile to manufacturing requirements.

Lockdown?!

Hey Guys , Here I am with a useful thing for all of u to do during this lockdown period. I think most of u would have gone to ur work places but for the people sitting home idol this will be useful. U can learn new courses in programming languages, coding and make projects create webpages. For learning I would prefer u to do in online. U get to know about many things in Csc and even get an E-Certificate. I would prefer u some resources to access this like Coursera , a very famous site for learning programming, and even apps like Solo Learn . U get both in Google Play Store. The Effects of JUNK FOOD...

Junk foods are a basic part of every person's diet. There may be people who think they do not eat junk food at all. But they may be add some, unknowingly in their in their routine food. Junk food in itself, i.e., its waste according to our body. They have less nutrition and more sugar, salt and fat. Ultimately its of no use other than its taste.
